Jesus our Healer Cares For you; He is willing , able, and ready to help us.

Jesus The Healer lesson 8 Jesus Cares For You

Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses. “

Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The work was finished at the cross when Jesus was lead as a lamb to the slaughter. This is the reason to receive your healing.

Psalm 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Let your expectation rise to the level of the promise. The prophetic utterance of Psalm 103 is powerful. Speak to your soul to bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the confident expectation in the promise of the word of God; and the evidence that it belongs to you even before the earthly manifestation of the promise.

Matthew 8:1 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." 3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

The leper asked the question that many allow to cross their lips “Lord, if You are willing...” Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying “I am willing”. God is willing; He told us to pray His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. What is His will in heaven?

Matthew 8:14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. 15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.

Mark 1:30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. 31 So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.

Luke 4:38 Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon's house. But Simon's wife's mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. 39 So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.

Like so many healing Jesus performed, this is in 3 of the gospels. Jesus was told and they had made a request of Him to heal her. Watch Jesus and how he operates. He took her by the hand and rebuked the fever. Oh, the Christian would take their God given authority and rebuke the sickness.

Matthew 9:32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. 33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, "It was never seen like this in Israel!" 34 But the Pharisees said, "He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons."

People marveled and praised Jesus as He healed; however, the religious people attributed the works of God to the devil.

Matthew 12:9 Now when He had departed from there, He went into their synagogue. 10 And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"; that they might accuse Him. 11 Then He said to them, "What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out?

If the will of religious were done that day, no healing would have been had for this man with the withered hand. Mind sets are deep and hard to change; the religious people’s hearts were hardened.

Matthew 12:12 “Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." 13 Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. 14 Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.

Let your heart be set by Jesus’ words! “Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep”? God ascribes great value you to you; He cares for you above the religious teaching and dogma that may stand between you and He. He told this man to stretch out his hand and Jesus made it whole. What the Pharisees said could have been the inhibitor, but the man chose to hear Jesus and stretched out his hand and was made whole. Jesus cares for you!

Matthew 12:22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, "Could this be the Son of David?"

All the signs and wonders we have read together, show the heart of God to heal the sick, open blinded eyes, open deaf ears, open the mouth of the mute. The multitudes asked the right question. Yes, this truly is the Son of David; this truly is the Savior that we long for and need.

Matthew 15:30 Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. 31 So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

Do you believe? Put that faith in action and glorify the Mighty God. He cares for you!

Matthew 20:29 Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him. 30 And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!" 31 Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!" 32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?" 33 They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened." 34 So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

The two blind men heard He was coming. They begin to cry out what they believed about Jesus! “Have mercy on us, O Lord Son of David!” Let your cry encompass what you believe about Jesus! The multitudes could not halt the cry of the blind men’s heart! Jesus heard their cry and gave them their hearts desire. Jesus cares for you!

Mark 1: 32 At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. 33 And the whole city was gathered together at the door. 34 Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.

If you read Mark chapter 1 you see Jesus had quite a day already, still His heart was toward and for the people and He ministered to their need. Jesus cares for you!

Matthew 21:12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" 14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

Jesus did some house cleaning at His Father’s house. Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. The Father’s house should be a house of prayer and healing. He cares for you; come and be anointed with oil and be healed.
